Oh yeah, Santa Monica is one whimsical city! I was born in S.M. and now I work here. I was at my Santa Monica dentist this morning and came across this Oz-like tree while walking to my car. Who says you can't talk to the trees! I'm still waiting for this one to answer me!

I LOVE the heat...but 81 is my fav temp. I live in Illinois and it is 49 right now. Can't complain though, we have had a gorgeous fall. I really enjoy reading your blog!
