The Building Blocks to Fashion

I was crusing thru some of my old yarny inspiration pix and came across this one, taken in the parking lot at LACC, during the Felt Club, November 2007. I just happened upon this lady and her fabulous sweater and asked if I could photograph it. I don't know her, but she's stylin'.

Colorful Crocheted Cardi

Now, I have to figure out how to make this cardigan!

Very cute cardi...and knowing of your genius we should be seeing your completed one by ....Monday? :)

Well, whenever it's ready, I can hardly wait to see it. I might attempt this for my daughter. She loves granny squares. But it might have to wait until I learn socks; finish the hat I've had on sticks for months; after I make a camera pouch for my digital....

Yikes...gotta go!

Hi Ellen,

Hope you weren't too rattled by the earthquake. Some people I know, didn't even feel it much.

My first night in L.A. I experienced an earthquake. Freaked me out, but after a while you know how it is.

Lovely cardi!

Just last week, one of the girls at my knitting group reminded me just how easy crochet is and I must say, I'm getting more and more tempted to pick up a hook and get going. This photo may just have finally convinced me!

That is sooooo cute! I love the granny squares, the gorgeous colour combination, those cute buttons and the way that they button into the shell edging. Thanks for sharing the inspiration. =]
