In addition to World Wide Stitch in Public Day, I had MANY gatherings to attend this weekend!

Natalie's Husband, Joe (resembling an Italian Movie Producer)

On Saturday night, we celebrated Natalie's advanced degree in Anthropology from UCLA. Just call her Doctor Yamashita from now on! The party was given by Natalie's husband, Joe and Joe's sister, Rose....at Rose's house. The party was a stand-out! The food was catered by Bite Bar and Bakery of Santa Monica (excellent). There was music, dancing and much frivolity, all in Rose's gorgeous Hollywood backyard!

On Sunday we zoomed out to Mary Jo's palatial backyard in lovely, hot Pasadena for a belated birthday celebration for Mary Jo and Darcy. It was a potluck...we all brought delicious food and lots of gifties.

Later in the day we had a mini-Welcome Back from Paris gathering for Carol at Chez Eschler-Frystack. Carol had lots of gorgeous jewelry purchases to show us AND she brought all of us Parisian yarn!!!!
