So Called....

Ran across this pattern online and had to try it! I used the leftover Paton SWS, Soy Wool Stripes in the Geranium colorway. The author used Manos del Uruguay wool, which is really gorgeous, but slightly heavy for me. Then, I found this online video, showing another way to do the stitch. Thank you, internets.

Gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaawwwwwwwwwwddddddd, that looks yummy. I think you've taken my favorite (looking) yarn, and my favorite (looking) stitch and put them together the way I would - if I ever actually did it. Beautiful.

That looks incredible in the SWS. Your perfect colors too! Thanks for the linky-dinks.

Oh that's so yummy looking. Great yarn substitution and I like the stripes with the stitch pattern. They sort of enhance each other. I started this scarf in the suggested Manos and just cannot imagine wearing it in this climate. Not so much with the love of that yarn for LA.

I am dying to try the SWS, just haven't gotten my hands on any.

This stitch scares me, so thanks for the link.
