Neck's Best Thing

Neck's Best Thing model, Brandi @ Stitches From The Heart
Ana is a genius. She comes up with the best ideas. Of course, this idea isn't really new, but the way that Ana puts together colors, textures and designs is truly inspiring. One of her latest designs is The Neck's Best Thing! This is a neckwarmer, dickey innovation made with leftover chunky yarn and a huge button. Ana used large needles, probably size 15 with this chunky yarn, cast on about 10 stitches and knit in garter stitch until she ran out of yarn. She added a hole in the center of the "scarf" toward one end and a loop on the edge of the scarf, along with a saucer-sized button. If you want the warmer closer around your neck, just button it through the hole in the center. If you want a looser fit, use the button loop on the edge of the piece. Brilliant.

That is too cute!

Am I the only one who thinks the model looks like the landlady in Three's Company? Whoever she is, she's adorable and I love her haircut!!

What a great idea! And someone you know has LOTS of buttons, including some REALLY REALLY BIG ones, too!
