Minty Delight

Angela's Green Potion
Tomorrow is Saturday. On Saturdays, if time permits, I like to go to the Stitch 'n Bitch at the HomeGirl Cafe, downtown L.A. Of course, I like communing with other knitters and crocheters, however the main pull is the fresh Mint/Spinach Lemonade served there. It was recently reviewed in the L.A. Downtown News (scroll down). The Lemonade is called "Angela's Green Potion." Chef, Patricia Zarate invented this drink so that her daughter, Angela, would eat her spinach, disguised by the mint and lemonade. It's one of the most refreshing, best drinks I've ever had. The tacos, sandwiches, salads and deserts are great too.

Oh yeah, maybe I'll do some knitting too. Our group is there from 2-5pm, most Saturdays. Hope to see you there tomorrow!
