Back from the Desert
We drove back from Twentynine Palms and arrived in L.A. around 1pm this afternoon, after a beautiful long weekend in the high-desert town. It was a restful weekend. The weather was great. There was a bit of rain late Friday night, so the clouds and skies were amazing.
We had some fine meals. Above, the yummy spinach salad at the 29 Palms Inn.
We did a little thrift-shoppin' in Yucca Valley.
We explored some deserted, spooky buildings
We crocheted a potholder and a dishcloth, inspired by our perfect pink kitchen
We checked our e-mail
We made some new friends

Thanks to artist, Mary-Austin Klein for the use of her lovely little cabin in the beautiful California desert!
