They had the neatest gift shop at the Ukrainian Culture Center and the woman who ran it was so nice; I'm not sure if it is still there. I went there many times and attended an exhibit of psyanky one year that was amazing!

Toronto is in a province of Canada with the world's largest liquor-buying government agency. No cool store signs for us!
Until perhaps 25 years ago you couldn't even look at the bottles. You had to fill in an order form from a very plain list, and have the clerk hand it over. Glad those days are long gone.
