Crazy Aunt Purl Book Signing

Last night the WeHo SnB attended Crazy Aunt Purl's (aka Laurie Perry's) book signing at Barnes & Noble at The Grove in Los Angeles. We all had a marvelous time. It was standing room only. Laurie was a major success! She looked great, she sounded great, the book is faboo! Congratulations, Laurie and best of luck on the book tour!

Los Angeles loves Laurie!

Oh Ellen, thank you so much for posting this slide show! It is almost like being there and sharing all the fun with the WeHos.

And I think you (and Larry) are totally wonderful too!

Wow! The slideshow is almost like being there. I love the picture of CAP's pointy boots! Great crowd! So proud of Laurie. We knew her when she was just covered in cat hair.

Ellen, Thanks for a WONDERFUL slide shows! Wasn't it a great evening? I'm so happy for Laurie. What a great book and so therapeutic! It brings back so many memories of when I thought I was losing it after coming home to find my husband had moved to a different state (without telling me, of course). Surprise. Loved, loved, loved meeting everyone and look forward to seeing you again at Farmer's Market snb. THANKS FOR THE PICTURES!

Thanks for the great slide show, Ellen! It almost makes up for having to miss the talk, which I had been looking forward to! At least I have the book and it's been a great read. Funny how divorce and widowhood have so many things in common!

Yes, Laurie's first book reading and signing was a success. Thanks to all of my sisters and brothers of the WeHo SnB who came out to cheer her on!

Also, thanks for the slideshow compliments. I took most of the photos and Mr. Larry took about 6.

Thanks for the photos- I don't live in the states now- so, I'll miss all the book signings.. :(

By the way, that 'slide thingy' is great.. I just started a blog a few days ago- I'll have to see if I can 'figure out' how to use it on my blog. Is it ok, if I use the slide idea too?

Great Slide Show! It looks like it was a wonderful time. I so wish I could see her in person, but living vicariously will have to do. Thanks!
