On the Way

Vintage Mini Play-Kitchen
On the way up to Mile-High Idyllwild, we will be passing through many desert communities. Usually, the thrift and antique shopping is best in the hinterlands. The thrift and antique shops here in Los Angeles get picked over by prop people from the movie studios and other such hipsters. There's usually nothing cool left for us! That's why Larry and I like to stop at the shops on our way out to the desert.
There are some excellent antique stops in San Bernardino and Riverside. Maybe we'll find...

A cool Tiki for the backyard
45 rpm Records to add to Larry's Collection

A Fabulous Paint-By-Numbers Masterpiece
Fascinating Crochet Book
The possibilities are endless when you don't know WHAT you're shopping for! I can't wait to get on the road. Have a great weekend, everyone!

Ooh, thrift stores and banjo playing. Hopefully there will be some diner pie in there someplace, too. Have a great weekend!

:) I know a certain wee monkey girl that would *kill* for that PINK retro kitchen set. Probably a good thing we don't go "antique-ing" much. :) Have fun, be safe.
