Holiday Gift Sale @ Work
Ellen's Eclectic Display of Knitted & Crocheted Gifts
Once a year, my office holds a holiday gift and craft sale. All of the items for sale are made by employees.
Shirley's Quilted and Sewn Items
We have jewelry, knitted and crocheted items, photographs, quilted and sewn items and baked goods! Of course I participated today. I did quite well too!
Nicole's Jewelry
Sanam should have bought this beret!
Amy bought my cute little boy sweater
It was a fun event and a great way to earn some money during lunchtime!

That's awesome.
Look at all those creative people.
Love it.
What a wonderful idea.
That's so cool!
I know WB does (did?) a big one where either employees and friends/relatives of employees could set up & sell. I always wanted to do it but my friend always forgot to tell me until the last minute.
I'm so glad to hear you did well!!
What a great idea! Glad you earned a little bit too!
The beret really did look good. And the little boy sweater is perfect, the pop of orange on it makes the sweater.
How fun! My SIL and I had a table at the Disney holiday "boutique" years
ago. It was a lot of fun and I remember we did really well!
wow, Ellen, you have been churning the handcrafts, what a beautiful collection. Lucky co-workers.
ps she definitely should have gotten that beret.
Nice little boy sweater in UCLA colors!
She totally should have gotten that beret. So cute. What a talented bunch of folks you work with!
Hi Ellen,
In looking over your pictures, I absolutely adore the beret! Would you mind sharing what pattern you used? Definitely need to make me one! Thanks! Rosalia
Hi Saphire!
If you're talking about the crocheted beret on the mannequin (top photo), that's a pattern called "Phannie" on the Berroco website: http://www.berroco.com/exclusives/phannie/phannie.html
If you're talking about the rust-colored slouchy beret that Sanam is wearing (side view), that's a Crazy Aunt Purl pattern: http://www.crazyauntpurl.com/archives/2008/01/supersimple_fas_1.php
Good luck!
