Papa Cristo's
We zoomed down to the Byzantine-Latino Quarter last night for dinner at Papa Cristo's. The place closes at 8pm, so we had to step on it!
The food is prepared beautifully! Everything is very fresh, cooked simply and loaded with flavor. We usually order the roast chicken, but decided to change it up a bit last night. Larry had the Chicken Kabobs and I had the whole Tlapia fish. Both were served with a Greek salad, Tzatziki, roasted potatoes and slightly grilled flat bread. I usually like to order the grilled Feta Cheese with roasted tomatoes, but resisted this time. Everything was divine.
The C.& K. Imports Market in the area next to the dining room is always worth a look-see. They must have 20 different types of olive oil! The bakery and deli counter is excellent.
A huge plus - there's free parking in back! Next party.....this is the spot!
