The Mixer

Every spring our neighborhood, Wilshire Vista holds it's Neighborhood Mixer.  Many members of the community help coordinate, set-up, serve, decorate, clean-up and more.  We're very lucky to be living in Wilshire Vista...A Community of Respect (it says so on the sign).  We know so many of our neighbors, which is unusual for today.  

We have a new Association President this year and he's doing an excellent job of organizing our website and the neighborhood, in general.  My husband, Larry is the official Wilshire Vista photographer.  He takes photos at the Mixer and our Halloween Party too.  It's always fun to see last year's photos during the current party.

This year, we had an excellent selection of treats from Good Gracious Catering, Chic Wine Bar, Bloom Cafe, Powerplant Cafe and Hansen's Cakes.  All of the food was donated by these generous businesses in our area.
