Weaving!

"Aurora" by Rebecca Smith.

On Friday, Larry and I met at The Branch Gallery after work to attend the opening of "Art Looms" Designing Weavers 2016 Exhibition." The Branch Gallery is an off-shoot exhibition and teaching space of The Knitting Tree in Culver City. The space is huge and works perfectly as an art gallery.
The show was well attended
"Color and Weave," Basketry by Fern Benson
Woven Tapestries by Nicki Bair
Artist, Michael F. Rohde

We were very impressed with the quality of work for this show. I ran into some knit-sisters from the El Segundo Slipt Stitchers Guild, as well as friends from the L.A. Conservancy.

Call The Branch Gallery to check on their hours of operation, but make an effort to see this show. It's wonderful and many items are FOR SALE, including smaller gift items!
