Seen on the Street

the picture says it all
Location: Venice Blvd., east of Fairfax, Mid-City L.A. I see that the home port of this yacht is Marina del Rey. The closest body of water to this location is the very shallow Ballona Creek. Must be hard times.

That's pretty funny! The Knot for Sail is For Sale.

Maybe they used to putt around Toluca Lake . . . or, isn't there some kind of water/pond/lake thing at Balboa Park . . . LOL

How very confusing. Is it for sale or isn't it for sail? (scratches head)

Well, you what they say - a boat is a hole in the water you throw money into!

But I love clever boat names. Obviously I see plenty where I live, but there's a boat dealer in Newport beach I used to pass by when visiting family that has a great "Boat Name of the Week" sign out front that always gave me a chuckle!

This boat must be wandering around, I saw it on Overland, just south of Pico.

great photo, sign of the times. I went into FedEx yesterday and no one was there. "Where is everybody?" I asked. The lady said, "It's the economy." Made us wonder if things are worse than the media is reporting.
