A Little Help From My Friends
I've finished assembling the Baby GrannyGhan for donation to Stitches From The Heart. Thanks to a few of my knitastic and crochetastic friends for helping out with the squares. I edged each square with off-white, 100% virgin acrylic yarn, then assembled the squares. I added a border with off-white, orange and lime green. I think it's bright and cheerful....sure to make any baby hyper-active!

This came out great! Next time you do one, count me IN!
How's the Heartbeat?
I knew you'd make it work but dang, this rocks.
Another bang up job by the crochet maestro!
The blanket has turned out beautifully. Great job sewing it all together. The colored border really ties all the pretty squares together...uh oh, I'm having a Big Liebowski moment. Hee.
Hope it keeps a baby warm and snuggly!
Looks terrific! And babies love color and texture, so it will be perfect. Glad to have been a part of it--thanks, Ellen!
It's so pretty! The border is especially inspired. Dare I hope that one of the variegated squares is one I made at our SM SnB for the boss afghan project? I would love to have been a part of this special project.
You did a great job of putting those squares together. It looks fantastic!
Great babyghan, love the edge!
Thanks for all of the compliments, everyone. I appreciate it.
You know, it's easy to donate items to Stitches From The Heart. Just go to their website for the information. They love receiving baby items!
So bright and pretty! I can't believe how well those all came together.
Ditto Jillian. I can't believe how well you brought all those diverse squares together. But, I guess, if ANYONE could do it, it would be YOU!!!
