4 Days Late - CAP
Laurie and Ellen
I'm late to blog about Crazy Aunt Purl's reading at the Compatto Yarn Salon this past Sunday. Just in case you didn't know, Laurie Perry wrote this great book called "Drunk, Divorced and Cover in Cat Hair. The True-Life Misadventures of a 30-Something Who Learned to Knit After He Split." The shop is smallish (but packed with excellent yarniness), so 20 + listeners made for a great crowd.
Laurie was relaxed and entertaining. Thanks to Laurie for reading the chapter where she mentions me!!!! Crazy Auntie is a book tour professional now. She really knows how to handle a crowd. We all milled about, bought yarn, listened to Laurie, had a Q & A session and then walked down the block for a cup of tea. It was a lovely afternoon. A few people who were there:
Brit and Emily
Christine
Labels: Los Angeles, yarny stuff
