Suzette...I haven't entered anything in the Fair since I was in Brownies...a few thousand years ago. The Fair officials do not make entering easy. Maybe someday.
Cree8teevgril! Thanks so much for the hair compliments. I've been working on this look for awhile! How nice of you to notice!
Your hair does look great ellen :) The fair pics are so colorful and inviting ... it's nice to see Larry :) We must dine together some time (sooner than later)! ~Kiki
OH my goodness, I love that lemonade stand. It makes me think of Richard Scarry's children's books, where the animals drive in crazy item-shaped cars. This thing would be perfect with tires and a steering wheel.
So someone entered a Stained Glass afghan in the fair! Glad to see it won a ribbon; I haven't attempted that yet. Love your blog, by the way. It's fun to see your coast from all the way over here on the East Coast!

Wow, you really went to the fair? I went once when I was a big sister. Did you eat much of the "junk?" It is amazing what they can fry these days!
Sorry I missed you on Saturday....I was gluded to the tennis match. I just could not tear myself away.
What a perfect weekend for the fair. I've never been to the L.A. County Fair. Your photos have inspired me, so I think a visit is in my future.
Looks like fun (I've never been)! That stained glass afghan is beautiful! Nice shot of you and Larry! :
Looks like fun. Have you ever entered one of your crocheted creations in the fair? I know you would win!
Ell- I must comment on your hair, it looks FAB-OOO!
