Spring!
the first roses of the seasonIt's Spring in Los Angeles. Many people believe that it's spring all year round in L.A. Not true. They are subtle, but we do have our seasons. Right now, our yard is bursting with color! LOVE those California poppies!
these bulbs multiply every year!
The paint on the house may be peeling and the weeds may be climbing up over the ol' Dodge in the backyard, but it's definitely SPRINGTIME and colorful at our house!

Don't dis the old Dodge with the weeds--it's as pretty as the flowers. (and Larry didn't tell me to say that).
Is that a Dodge Dart? The only cool car my folks ever had was a 1963 Dodge Dart with the push button transmission controls.

Yes, Hester. You are correct! It's a '63 Dodge Dart with push-button transmission. My husband bought it years ago and has never fixed it up for daily use. It's a cool car that's going to waste in our weed patch!
