This past Wednesday my long-time friend and schoolmate, Diana invited us to a cocktail party, preview of property from the estate of Les Paul at Julien's Auctions in Beverly Hills. Diana's son works at Julien's. It's a great space, right on Wilshire Boulevard at Bedford Drive. In fact, we just missed The President's motorcade leaving the Beverly Wilshire Hotel on his way to another fund-raiser on North Roxbury Drive.

Les Paul had an amazing amount of cool stuff! There are guitars, banjos, mandolins and other musical instruments; recording equipment; photographs; sheet music; ephemera; furniture from his studio and more! It was an impressive exhibit and delightful party.
