Beth, Carol, Julie, Lori and Natalie |
Saturday, the second day of February was our day to celebrate January birthdays with the Crochet Grrlz. We met for lunch at Ammo Cafe on Highland Ave. in Hollywood. Ammo uses the freshest and most natural ingredients in all of their dishes. The food was lovely...simple and delicious.

poached eggs |
I had perfectly poached eggs on a salad of golden beets, haricots
verts, fennel, teardrop tomatoes with an olive tapenade, shaved
parmigiano Reggiano and roasted fingerling potatoes. Others had salads, veggie sandwiches and more supremely yummy meals.

After lunch we adjourned to Beth's home for presents and stitching. There were LOTS of presents. Julie provided a delicious fruit and custard dessert. Beth served divine tea and a wonderful wine called "Mayhem!"

I was pleased with how my gifties looked on both Natalie and Carol. It was a grand afternoon.
