Valentine's Dinner

Larry and I had a lovely time on Valentine's night. I worked in the morning, shopped in the afternoon and was home by 4pm. Larry made an early reservation at the newly re-opened Tom Bergin's Restaurant, right near our house.
Bergin's has gone through a few owners, but the current owner seems to have figured out the perfect formula for running the legendary pub and restaurant. You can still order bar food (sandwiches, burgers, fish & chips), but there are also higher-end choices on the menu.
We sat in the fireplace room, toward the back of the restaurant. Larry had the pork chop and I ordered the bangers and mash. We split an ordered of roasted cauliflower. Everything was beautifully prepared and delicious!

An added bonus...we ran into a few of our neighbors at the bar: Andi and Heinz along with Kim and Don. The bar was hopping and we'd heard that the dining room was sold out for the rest of the evening. So glad to see that Bergin's is back and popular!
