My Uncle Mort just turned 97 years old! Phew! Mort is my Dad's OLDER brother and the sole survivor of the Bloom Boys: Mort, George and Hi.
Mort's 97th birthday was celebrated in style at Mort's home in Playa del Rey, overlooking the Pacific Ocean. There were cousins, grandchildren, friends and more in attendance. Cousin Barbara managed to present a bountiful luncheon for all of us. The buffet was most impressive!

It's always fun hanging out with my cousins. An added bonus was seeing newly transplanted cousin, Eric with his girlfriend, Natasha. Eric was living in New York, but recently got a job here in L.A. Welcome home!
Many of Mort's old friends were there. Mort and my Dad, George were very close. They shared many of the same hobbies and friends. It was great seeing so many of my Dad's buddies too.

We were all snapping photos like crazy. Cousin Andy was sweet enough to send his photos to all of us. I've incorporated my photos, Andy's and Larry's in this post.
