We spent the weekend with friends in Green Valley and Running Springs. I'd have to guestimate that this was around 1994. Jan rented the house and we gathered up our rock 'n roll friends, Jennie, Joan and Scott and drove up to the San Bernardino Mountains near Big Bear Lake.

Jan spent childhood family vacations in Green Valley for years, so she knew the territory.

I remember going to a community pancake breakfast, hitting a few thrift shops and garage sales too. The highlight was visiting Santa's Village in Skyforest. I'll save those photos for another post!

Larry drove us all over the place in his 1955 Chevrolet Bel-Air. It was a fun-filled weekend with good friends.
