All Over L.A.
We're booked this weekend! We'll be travelling from one end of L.A. to the other, several times!
Friday is Mr. Larry's b-day, so we're going to dinner at a new place near our house called La Bodeguita de Pico...Cuban food, I've heard it's good. After dinner we'll be at the Thinkspace Gallery in Silverlake for an art opening.
Saturday it's the once-a-month WeHo SnB at the Original Farmers Market, 10am - noon in the upstairs dining area. This is always a lively group. We'll be there, rain or shine!

Saturday night we'll be heading out to Highland Park for the NELA Second Saturday Art Walk. I'm actually participating in a group show at Future Studio. The show is a mail art show called “Coffee” curated by Ted Meyer, assisted by Omar Mejia. Art on the theme of coffee has been mailed in from all around the world. Coffee will be served, along with Rhode Island's Official State Drink, Coffee Milk and various coffee-related snacks and desserts.

Sunday, we're having a b-day breakfast with Audrey and Jeff at Jinky's Cafe on the Sunset Strip. Aud & Jeff will regale us with tales of their recent adventures in Zion National Park.
We may have a few hours to rest before our dinner with the folks at Taylor's Steakhouse in Koreatown. It's one of Larry's fave places.
Monday is a holiday in celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr's. birthday. We may head over to the Kingdom Day Parade MLK Blvd. between Crenshaw and Western. This is usually a great parade, full of fantastic marching bands, lively dance groups and celebs.
I'm already exhausted just writing about this weekend.

Perhaps you don't mean to, but you're making me feel inadequate. :)
Love "Crochet Au Lait!"
Happy Birthday, Larry!!
Ellen, I'm going to try to make it to snb on Saturday. I'm sad that I have to miss snb tonight.
See you Saturday!
Happy birthday Mr. Larry!
PS: I LOVE your crochet au lait.
PPS: I was intrigued by your "Coffee Milk" reference and googled it. What a cool drink those Rhode Islanders have! Another version is called the "Coffee Cabinet". Live and learn.
