License to Crochet

It's here! It's finally here! My new license plate! I simply cannot believe that CROCHET was available! Now, I must crochet some new headrest covers for my perfect car.

I made some great headrest covers for my old Toyota RAV 4. I don't have a photo of them handy, but I do have a photo of the headrest covers I made for my Honda Accord. They are made of granny squares in muted tones. I think I'll go for a different design for the CROCHET Matrix....not sure....accepting suggestions now.

You are *so* crazy. I think the Matrix needs black leather granny squares. Which reminds me - have you seen this site: http://yscmama.typepad.com/little_purl/

The only person who loves g-squares as much as you!

Oh yeah....Little Purl of the Orient is a genius. She knows that granny squares are the building blocks to fashion!!!
Thanks, Monkeygurrrrrrl.

i can't believe it was available!

what color is the matrix interior? i think something with a little sparkle would be nice.

Sparkle...good idea, Miss Kendra.

2006 Matrix's only came in boring colors (inside and out)...light grey, dark grey, white, black, blah. I'm thinking of adding a splash of red, along with black, grey, maybe off-white...maybe sparkly...we'll see what's in the stash!

That is too perfect! It's like they were holding it for you.

With that dark grey, I'd go for RED. If you do granny squares again, maybe red centers, then a darker color (grey or black?), then red again, and another neutral to crochet them together. Or something like that -- you are the expert!

I love it!! I agree with adding a splash of red, but definitely stick with the granny squares. They're so you.

You are the crochet maven, so it is only fitting you have that plate!! I agree with miss kendra that a little sparkle would be faboo.

Hooray! Of course it was available because it HAD to be yours! :)

Add me to the red camp... nothing's better with black and gray than red.

That is such a primo plate. I can't believe that someone in California didn't already have that one. Now I will honk when I see that car!

How cool that you got CROCHET! I'm in Ventura, CA, and many years ago I got QWHILTR, which I still have...but I also knit, crochet, embroider, bead, and lots of other stuff. It's definitely a conversation starter! If I see you on the freeway, I will give a wave.
