Art and Italian Food

Sewing Machine Powered by Bicycle Rider

Continuing with this weekend's make:craft show at Otis Art Institute, here are a few more of the pieces that we saw:The "Commuter Cookout" below is based on the premise that you can cook food on the radiator of your automobile while driving long distances. For instance, place the bag containing "Soccer Mom's Shepherd's Pie" on the radiator while you drive your kids to and from practice. When you get home, dinner will be ready!Next up, a pressure cooker idea for Thanksgiving dinner in 5 seconds!None of these pieces could compete with Sweaterman. He was definitely the star of the show!
After all of those food-related art pieces, we were very hungry. We zoomed from Westchester up to Playa del Rey for some divine Italian cuisine!

I've heard of Salerno's, will have to look it up. Sweater man was definite was an attraction.

I love Salerno's! Great traditional red-sauce joint. Very friendly and neighborly.
