Lori's B-Day @ Chosun Galbee
On Sunday the "Sometimes Sunday Crochet" group met at Korea Town's Chosun Galbee BBQ to celebrate Lori's birthday. It was warm enough to dine on the patio. I love this place and have written about it before. We each ordered a dish, which we later discovered was slightly too much food! It was a barbecue meat, pork, fish and vegie extravaganza!!!
First, we were served endless small plates of delicious Korean delicacies, along with a green salad. Then, the grillin' began. A kimono-clad waitress did all of the grilling for us. It was highly civilized. The grilling just didn't stop! As soon as we'd scarfed down one course, another appeared. In between, the grill was changed and re-oiled! It was a fabulous meal.

We zoomed back to my house for dessert and gifties. I made poached pears in Marsala wine and served shortbread cookies on the side.
Lori received some wonderful gifts, including.....surprise...yarn!! We even managed to get some crocheting accomplished. It was a wonderful afternoon. Happy Birthday Sweet Lori!
