Phoenicia
Happy Brit Day! |
Yesterday, we celebrated Brit's b-day at Phoenicia Restaurant in Glendale. It was a very chilly day, so we dined inside. There was some sort of presentation going on at the far end of the dining room with many attractive 20-somethings. Every once in a while they clapped and cheered. I'm sure they were merely approving our menu choices and witty repartee!

The Lebanese food is outstanding at Phoenicia. We ordered the Vegetable Delight, an assortment of veggie appetizers, extra Mouhammara which is a spicy dip prepared with crushed walnuts, red pepper paste, pomegranate
juice and extra-virgin olive oil, Greek salad, Cabbage Salad, Lamb Shish Kebab with yummy rice. We also tried a shot of Arak which is an anise-flavored apéritif. Everything was deeee-licious!

Of course there were b-day presents and desert too. We had a grand time.
