Flores, Flores, Flores!
Climbing Roses
At our house, roses grow best in our tough, adobe soil. Of course, drought resistant cactus and wildflowers grow beautifully too. All the rain this past fall and winter, in addition to some new pruning techniques that Larry learned from our friend, Carol, have produced a bountiful selection of roses in our front and side yards.
The jacaranda trees are starting to bloom too. Soon, many of our Los Angeles streets will have a canopy of purple flowers overhead. For me, this is the most beautiful time of year in L.A.

Everything is coming up roses over at your house.
If you want to see what's happening in my yard stop by the blog tomorrow.
The jacarandas are in bloom here in Miami, too. Wherever they stand, there's a purple carpet around them.
What beautiful flowers!
Wow! Gorgeous! Love those pink climbers. What a treat for you. :-)
I think the only thing growing in our yard is the feral cat population (they seem to think my cat's food is a soup kitchen...)
