SHAG and Pufnstuf

"Puf's Pad," by SHAG

After my birthday extravaganza on Saturday, Larry and I chilled a bit and decided we needed a nice, hot bowl of ramen after all that Coffee Crunch Cake and champagne. We headed over to our local Ramen Jinya. After dinner we wanted to try our luck at finding a parking spot near the SHAG store on Melrose and see if we could get in for the signing of SHAG's new print, "Puf's Pad."
what a mob-scene!
We found a place to park a few blocks away, but as we suspected, there was a line down the block to get into the store. It was actually fun standing in line. People were dressed in all sorts of psychedelic clothing to commemorate Sid and Marty Krofft and their H.R. Pufinstuff characters. We saw many friends, including Brit and Dan!

The minute Brit got inside the overly crowded store, she made a bee-line for the register and purchased THE print! We thought it was sold out! Can't wait to see where Brit hangs this colorful piece in her house.

Always fun running into the most colorful ladies in the house, Anna, Erin, Vitta and Nikki
We were sorry to miss Natalie and Darcy by about 10 minutes!!  I cannot believe they had their photo taken with Marty (79) and Sid (87)!!

Smelrose Avenue, West Hollywood, always a sensory delight!
